The Louisville men's soccer program and head coach Ken Lolla will host the third annual "Kickin' it with JT and Friends" free soccer clinic for children and adults with special needs on Tuesday, July 23 from 6:30-8:30 p.m., ET at Cardinal Park. In the event of inclement weather, the clinic will be moved indoors to the Trager Center.
The event celebrates the gifts of children and adults with special needs while also promoting physical, mental and social development through the vehicle of soccer. The event is named for and inspired by JT, a special young man, an avid soccer camp participant and the nephew of Coach Lolla.
The clinic will be directed by the UofL men's soccer coaching staff, players and volunteers and will include the teaching of fundamentals and drills while also including fun interactions with the participants. Coach Lolla will speak to the group about life skills and principles of success and all participants will receive a free t-shirt and pizza.
UPDATE: Due to potential inclement weather, the third annual “Kickin’ it with JT and Friends” free clinic for children and adults with special needs this evening will now be conducted inside the Trager Center next door to Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium. The media is invited to attend the event (video and photos will be allowed) and interviews will be granted. The clinic is still scheduled for 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., ET.
