University of Kentucky President Eli Capilouto and director of athletics Mitch Barnhart will hold a news conference announcing new UK football head coach Mark Stoops on Sunday, Dec. 2 at 3 p.m. ET inside the Nutter Field House.

Stoops, who comes to Kentucky after successful stints as the defensive coordinator at Florida State University and the University of Arizona, was named UK's head coach on Tuesday. To read more about Stoops, visit http://www.ukathletics.com/stoopstouk/.

Stoops replaces Joker Phillips, whose tenure as head coach ended after the Cats went 2-9 this past season.
