Michigan guard James Young, ranked No. 5 in ESPN's top 100, gave Coach Cal his second great Thursday in row, announcing he will play for Kentucky in 2013.

He joins the Harrison twins and Derek Willis in next year's class so far.

Young picked Kentucky on ESPNU over Kansas, Michigan State and Syracuse.

The 6-foot-6 senior is considered the leading candidate for the 2013 Michigan Mr. Basketball award. As a junior, the lefty averaged 25.1 points, 10.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game.
