...and on my walk out to record the ground temperature and rainfall ... I am often greeted by a magnificent sunrise. This morning...I had to empty the rainfall gauge because the .68 of precipitation was frozen. I emptied the tube and placed the frozen precip on a wooden post. As I re-assembled the rain gauge...I noticed the morning sun burning through the rainsicle. There I was...staring straight into nature's lava lamp. This was that moment. I thought it was cool...but I have been up since 1am so....
